Pizza tower game review2/23/2024 ![]() ![]() The controls are good, despite their lack of synergy with the levels they're used in, and the music has at least a couple of decent tracks, although I'd say most of the music I really don't like. His animations, while awkwardly drawn, do at least ooze with character. So what do I like about this game? Well firstly, Peppino himself is extremely enjoyable to watch. If you run into a brick wall thousands of times, and have no consequences tied to it, you can eventually get through. The game is preposterously easy, never punishing you properly for failure. Most of these individual level gimmicks actually take away from your regular abilities or make your movement worse, which means if you want to keep going fast, you're gonna be trying to avoid these things for the most part. The boxy walls that are consistent in every stage really made every level feel the same, and the art style doesn't help, looking very rushed and unpolished All the level gimmicks like suits and rideable objects are boring, adding nothing but tiresome frustration as I have to spend my time backtracking for the sake of a single irritating obstacle. For a game that describes itself as fast paced, it's absurd how labyrinthian the levels are, almost demanding you take your time.
